Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, bright, somewhat herbal, ripe plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, tangy, plum-cherry-apple flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, cedar-tinged finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Spicy-peppery, plum nose; medium-bodied, dry, spicy plum and bitter chocolate flavours with a firm finish. The 2015 (**) was released on January 21, 2017 at $24.95. |
