| Forward very bright light yellow colour. Intense, lemon meringue nose with lots of toasty notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, bright key lime pie flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, very cedary, somewhat tropical, pineapple-coconut finish. NA tad over-the-top and too oaky for me. Has 14.9% alcohol and now only 6 g/L residual sugar. A REPEAT of the 2015 (***) that was last released on August 5, 2017 at only $47.95. TONY ASPLER / 90-points - Yellow straw in colour; exuberant spicy, toasty, vanilla oak and tropical fruit notes on the nose; full-bodied, intense, spicy pineapple and mango flavour with a long, nutty clove and cinnamon finish. A big, mouth-filling wine. |
