Bright very pale straw colour. Sweetish, spicy, honeyed, ripe apple-melon nose with some leesy, faintly sulphury notes. Sweet, medium-light bodied, very spicy, honeyed, maturing apple puree flavours with a crisp, unoaked faintly effervescent. Has 8.5% alcohol and 63 g/L residual sugar with lot number APN 2576537717 on the back label. Screwcap closure. Not up to the riper recommended 2011 (**/**+) that was released on January 9, 2016 at only $24.95. |
