Bright medium deep straw colour. Very spicy, dried apple nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, somewhat tart, dusty, lemon-apple flavours with a very crisp unoaked finish. This blend of 70% Riesling and 30% Chardonnay was made in the \"ripasso\" style meaning that the Riesling “was re-passed and aged on the skins and lees of the appassimento Riesling.” Has 11.8% alcohol and 17 g/L residual sugar (formerly 23 g/L residual sugar) with a screwcap closure. A REPEAT of the 2015 (not presented) that was released on June 24, 2017 at $17.95.
