Very deep purple colour. Slightly spicy, ripe plum nose with some cedar-sandalwood-mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, tangy, plum-cherry puree flavours with a crisp, licorice-tinged finish. The very well-priced unfiltered blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1719311 on the lower part of the glass bottle. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Licorice, herbal, blackberry aroma; medium to full-bodied, dry, well-extracted black fruit flavours, firmly structured with a firm tannic finish. |
