Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very slightly spicy, faintly peppery, cedar-tinged, still youthful, fairly intense, ripe plum-cherry purée nose with some hints of cassis. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, still youthful, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, high acid, fairly classy, gently cedary finish. Has 14.2% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. Tasted at Consultant’s preview. CSPC 522102

Good hue; this is a high quality cabernet with very clear varietal expression, its deep blackcurrant fruit set in a pool of bay leaf, black olive and quality French oak, rimmed by appropriately firm tannins.
