Bright pale straw colour. Rather spicy, gently complex, ripe apple-melon nose. Dry, medium bodied, intense, slightly spicy, ripe lemon-melon-apple flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked finish. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BUY - Minerally, graphite, herbaceous nose of green plums; medium-bodied, dry, fresh and lively lemony, gooseberry and grapefruit flavours. Better than the 2014 (**/**+) that was released on May 14, 2016 at $31.95. |
