GENTIL 2015 AC Alsace
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer HUGEL
Bright pale straw colour. Gently spicy, honeyed, ripe apple nose with some slightly floral, mineral notes. Dry, medium-light bodied, fairly intense, gently spicy, ripe apple-lemon flavours with a mineral-tinged finish. This blend as 13% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar. Gentil \"Hugel\" allies the spicy flavour of Gewurztraminer, the body of Pinot Gris, the finesse of Riesling, the grapiness of Muscat and the refreshing character of both Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner. Ready-to-drink - great with oysters. CSPC 367284

TASTING NOTE: A light touch is conveyed by aromas of honeysuckle, while the off-dry palate is balanced by fresh, citric verve. This wine has a dancing, easygoing nature marked by freshness and lightness in equal measure. Asian food flavors suggest themselves for this super-balanced, playful white.
