TASTING NOTE: Amarone della Valpolicella remains one of the most popular of red wines, particularly when the weather turns cooler and the foods become heartier. This one is a smooth, silky delight with a crowd-pleasing nature. Baking spice, clove, cinnamon and dried fruit tones emerge from amid brambly dark cherry, tobacco and vanilla. This is a fantastic value for Veneto's classic expression. (Vintages panel, Oct. 2016) Price $ 34.95
