Ambering deep red colour. Intense, mature, complex, cedary nose with some plum puree and sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, tangy, attractive, plummy, dried red cherry flavours with an attractive, lingering, high acid, sandalwood finish. Has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number LN026 on the back label. Last seen: the 2001 (**/**+) was released on September 1, 2007 at $49.95. CSPC 586388

TASTING NOTE: Aromas suggesting ripe berry, exotic spice, Alpine herb and a whiff of blue flower come together in the glass. The dense, round palate offers black raspberry, fleshy cherry, licorice and espresso alongside velvety tannins. It's already surprisingly accessible. Drink through 2022.
