Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, fairly intense, ripe, gently complex, plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, dense, well structured, ripe, intense, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, sandalwood-cedar finish. The 2012 (**+) was released on January 7, 2017 at $62.95 (cspc 471714). TASTING NOTE: The powerful, rich 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Anonyme reveals an off-the-chart level of extract, lots of glycerin (nearly 16% natural alcohol) and copious black cherry, blueberry, forest floor, lavender and graphite characteristics.
