JARAMAN CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2014 Clare Valley/Coonawarra, South Australia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer WAKEFIELD
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, herbal, plum-cherry nose with some cedary-Noxema notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, quite well structured, spicy, intense, herbal, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, peppery, cedary, somewhat tart finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L11648 28716 on the lower part of the fairly hefty glass bottle. Screwcap closure. A REPEAT of the recommended 2014 (**/**+) released on March 4, 2017 at $24.95. I have no idea why it is showing some poorly at the moment. CSPC 142398

TASTING NOTE: Concentrated and ripe yet crisp and vibrant, this wine blends Clare Valley and Coonawarra Cabernets to good effect. Bay leaf, black cherry and dark chocolate notes abound, while the texture turns slightly grainy on the finish. Drink now-2025.
