GRAND TOKAJ |
Bright extremely pale straw colour. Slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe apple nose. Off dry, light bodied, spicy, slightly honeyed, light ripe apple-melon flavours with a crisp unoaked finish. Ready-to-drink. This blend of 70% Hárslevelu and 30% Furmint has 12% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16229 on the back label. You can safely ignore the unrealistic 95-point tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue. |

TASTING NOTE: 70% Hárslevelu, 30% Furmint. Complex with inviting aromas of mango, ripe pineapple and honeysuckle complementing ripe flavours of citrus and a bright, balanced finish. Very typical and softly grippy with a gentle finish. A little neutral but undeniably elegant and a terrific display of quality and class. Score - 95 (Decanter Asia Wine Awards, 2016) |
