TASTING NOTE: Originally planted in 1973, the Bien Nacido Vineyard blocks are interspersed with avocado orchards and strawberry fields. This is intense and long with impressive complexity. There's a lithe elegance to the cherry and strawberry fruit tones and sweet vanilla underpinning. Toasty with good structure and integration. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2017) |
