RARE SPARKLING ROSÉ Product of France
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LUC BELAIRE
Bright faintly reddish pink colour. Very spicy, faintly honeyed, plummy, strawberry nose. Off dry, medium-light bodied, spicy, honeyed, plummy, ripe apple-cassis-cherry flavours with a crisp, fairly effervescent finish. Overpriced and underwhelming. This REPEAT is an easy-to-drink carbonated 12.5% blend of 90% Syrah, 5% Cinsault and 5% Grenache with 24 g/L residual sugar. Last appeared in Vintages (*+) on May 27, 2017 at $39.95. Beware of tastings.com (aka The Beverage Testing Institute) reviews which are apparently paid-for by producers. CSPC 395384
