TASTING NOTE: 65% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella. Intense herby and earthy nose. Bone dry quality, which is quite exceptional for an Amarone, fairly mature but still powerful, with juicy plum character and dried grape tannins. Great ageing potential with all the right elements in balance. Score - 93 (Judging panel, Decanter World Wine Awards, 2016) |
