TASTING NOTE: This wine is grown in vineyards planted on the Santa Caterina hill, along the Via Lauretana, a historic border area between the Papal States and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. It's seriously structured, with notions of red berry fruit, cedar, tea leaves, mint and leather, and a spicy finish. This will delight old-school traditionalists and serve as a window into the classic Vino Nobile style. (Vintages panel, Jan. 2017) |
