Fresh bright pale straw colour. Slightly spicy, fresh, gently grassy, mineral-tinged, ripe lemon-melon nose. Dry, zesty, medium-light bodied, harmonious, gently grassy, ripe lemon-melon-apple flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked finish. Try with oysters and seafood. Has 12.5% alcohol and 2g/L residual sugar. The 2014 (**/**+) was released on July 23, 2016 at $26.95. Silver Medal winner at the 2017 Concours des Ligers, this Sancerre is the result of a blend of Sauvignon Blanc coming from different parcels of two soil types: \"terres blanches\" and \"caillottes.\" The terres blanches soils give the wine power and a smooth mouthfeel, while the caillottes soils provide it with fruit and aromatic finesse.
