TASTING NOTE: Solidly built, with a juicy core of blackberry and plum paste flavors that pump along, carried by lively, brambly grip. The back end picks up licorice snap and dark tea notes, with the fruit pushing through pleasantly. Approachable, but should be better with a bit of cellaring. Grenache and Mourvèdre. Best from 2017 through 2024. Score - 91 (James Molesworth, winespectator.com, Oct. 31, 2016) Price $ 38.95
