TASTING NOTE: This wine is grown in Swartland and Paarl and is partly matured for 12 months in 100% French oak. It serves up red and black berry fruit, earth, leather, tobacco smoke, bright acidity and chewy tannins. Good value. Pair with barbecued balsamic-glazed chicken. (Vintages panel, June 2016) |
