Extremely deep purple colour. Slightly smoky, complex, baked ripe black cherry nose with some cedar-mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, plummy, baked black cherry puree and cassis flavours with a lingering, faintly smoky, cedary finish. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. The recommended best buy 2012 (**+) was released on April 30, 2016 at $17.95.
