TASTING NOTE: Light, but bright crimson hue; a surprise packet, until the memory of prior vintages clicks in. This has an indecent amount of complex varietal fruits; cherry and plum fruit engage in a duel to establish primacy, the referee coming in with spicy/savoury tannins to give context to the duel - which ultimately remains unresolved. Drink by: 2025. Special Value. Score - 94 (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, March 1, 2017) |
