Intense, day glo, bright light yellow colour. Great nose - very intense, lemony, spicy, ripe yellow grapefruit nose. Very dry, medium bodied, well structured, intense, ripe lemon-melon-grapefruit flavours with a flavourful, very faintly bitter, lingering, high acid finish. Has 12,5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / BEST BUY - Oily, waxy nose of citrus fruits with oak notes; medium to full-bodied, dry, elegant, beautifully balanced, and long on the finish with flavours of grapefruit and orange. |

TASTING NOTE: Ripe and fleshy but with a dry finish. There's almost a smokiness to this. Stonefruits and citrus lay out the foundations. No real need to wait for this; it's singing now. Drink: 2016-2021+. Score - 91 (Campbell Mattinson, winefront.com.au, Nov. 2, 2016) |
