| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very deep intense bright violet purple colour. Shy, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry-apple nose with some faint cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, faintly cedary finish. This blend of 70% Syrah (carbonic maceration), 20% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: Blockbuster stuff, the 2014 Faugeres Expression is a full-throttle blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre that was hand harvested, and aged 70% in new French oak. This beauty has tons of dark, chocolatey fruit, olive tapenade, licorice and background meatiness to go with a full-bodied, low acidity, hedonistic slant on the palate that just begs to be drunk.
