TASTING NOTE: This Syrah is grown in four southern French vineyards with four different soil types: sandstone, limestone, clay-limestone and granitic schist. It's a spicy, plummy wine with a velvety texture, attractive meaty and floral notes plus bright acidity. Pair with cured or barbecued meats. (Vintages panel, Nov. 2016) |
