Very deep intense purple colour. Very slightly spicy, bright, fairly ripe plum-cherry nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, quite well structured, very faintly bitter, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L173121 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 91-points / TRY - Spicy, cedary, blackcurrant with vanilla oak backing; medium-bodied, dry, dry; old style red Bordeaux; firmly structured, delicious and age-worthy. |
