TASTING NOTE: Founded in 1682, Rustenberg first planted Shiraz in the late 1990s on the west-facing slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain. Their 2014 is a spicy, complex, layered, fruit-driven and vibrant wine with great structure and freshness. A great wine for lamb burgers or barbecued ribs. (Vintages panel, June 2016) |
