Fairly dry, medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious, fairly dense, somewhat spicy, baked plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary finish. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Dense purple colour; creamy, blackberry nose with herbal notes; full-bodied, dry, savoury, plum and blackberry flavours with an oaky note on the finish. Has 15% alcohol (up from 14%) and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. Not up to the recommended 2013 (**/**+) with 88-points was released on January 9, 2016 at $17.00. |
