Bright pale straw colour. Spicy, honeyed, slightly baked, ripe lemon-apple puree nose that has some nutty toasty notes from aging the wine on the lees. Faintly off dry, medium bodied, very spicy, honeyed, baked apple-melon puree flavours with a lingering, somewhat toasty, very high acid, faintly bitter finish. Has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. The 2015 (*+/**) was released on September 3, 2016 at $16.95.
