TASTING NOTE: Open-fermented, matured in 1 yr and 2 yr French oak for 8 months. Opens quietly enough, then comes the rush of red and black cherry liqueur flavours, tannins adding another dimension. The alcohol keeps the wine fresh. Drink By: 2021. Score - 90 (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, Oct. 6, 2016) |
