CLOS DU ROI CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE 2013 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHÂTEAU GIGOGNAN
Medium deep purple red colour. Attractive, spicy, very ripe, ruby grapefruit nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, with some spicy, surprisingly juicy, attractive, ripe plum-cherry-ruby grapefruit flavours with a lingering, rather high acid, somewhat cedary finish. Pleasant, ripe and ready-to-drink. It’s tasty enough with 88.5-points BUT as a $50 Chateauneuf-du-Pape, it just make it in terms of style, depth and/or structure. Tasted twice, this ready-to-drink red get a pass from me. CSPC 492975
