BEAUROY CHABLIS 1ER CRU 2014 AC |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
SYLVAIN |
Very bright light yellow colour. Complex, intense, spicy, cedary, lemon meringue nose. Very dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, spicy, lemon meringue flavours with some sour milk-lactic notes on the lingering, fairly high acid, gently cedary finish. Very complex and may not be for everyone. Quite ready-to-drink. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L3-BEA-14 on the front label. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / TRY - Mature, lifted toasty barnyard nose with a floral grace note; medium-bodied, dry, apple and forest floor flavours. |

TASTING NOTE: Crafted in a more full-bodied style than is typical of Chablis wines, this has a round, silky and textured mouthfeel. Powerfully expressed citrus fruit with a snappy grapefruit tone leading notes of apple, pear and a pure and intense mineral undertone. Crisp and savoury with racy acidity and a marvelous sense of harmony. An impressive wine. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2016) |
