TASTING NOTE: Established in 2011, Coteaux Bourguignons encompasses all of Burgundy from Auxerrois, which is north-east of Chablis, down to Beaujolais. This affords winemakers freedom of expression as well as a wider range of grapes permitted for red wines, including Gamay, Pinot Noir, César, Aligoté and others. This wine from 2015 offers expressive red fruit with well-articulated raspberry and strawberry suggestions in a ripe, juicy and floral package, plus a tantalizing touch of mint. This will drink well for another 2+ years with ease. Enjoy tonight with grilled pork or salmon. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2016) Price $ 18.95
