Deep purple colour. Shy, slightly spicy, ripe plum nose with some licorice-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, tangy, gently complex, ripe plum flavours with a fairly crisp, sandalwood-licorice-mocha-chocolate tinged, fairly high acid finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Cedary, blackberry with vanilla oak on the nose; full-bodied, dry, well-extracted, savoury, blackberry and herbal flavours; firmly structured.
