Bright pale straw colour. Reductive, sulphur bound nose with some lemon meringue notes. Off dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, very spicy, honeyed, sweetish lemon meringue flavours with a lingering, cedary finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / -90-points / TRY - Reductive, spicy, barnyard and apple nose; full-bodied, dry, oaky, apple and citrus flavours with great length. TASTING NOTE: The 2015 Chardonnay opens with a wet pebble, peach and pear scented nose with hints of baking bread and honeysuckle. Light-boded with a silkiness to the texture and just enough fruit intensity, it gives a lively acid backbone and long minerally finish. Drink 2016-2018.
