| Very deep intense purple colour. Uncharacteristically herbal and peppery with a cherry-plum-apple nose with some cedar-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, savoury, herbal, baked plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, high acid finish. Has 12.7% alcohol and 8 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. Not up to the much riper recommended best buy 2014 (**+) released on November 12, 2016 at $18.95. |
