TASTING NOTE: The color is almost black, and lots of dark berry and black pepper aromas come out. This wine's flavors are even more pronounced, tasting peppery, meaty and like boysenberries. Dense tannins make the mouthfeel thick and layered. A lingering finish attests to its considerable concentration. Editors' Choice. Score - 91 (Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast, March 2016) |
