TASTING NOTE: This is a very lifted, floral and citrus aroma that reminded me of chardonnay musque, a clone known for these elements. It is very mindful of orange-lemon blossoms and fennel and sage. Very little oak presence - so in many ways very atypical chardonnay. It has medium-full body, warmth, elegance and spice. Nicely generous. Tasted Aug 2015. Score - 89 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Sept. 28, 2015) |
