| Deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, attractive, balsamic-tinged, baked cherry-plum puree nose with some faint earthy notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, very well structured, harmonious, complex, dense, ripe, plum-black cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, somewhat smoky finish with some hints of mocha-chocolate. This outstanding Lake Erie North Shore Cabernet Franc has 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar. Only 400 cases of the premium “Focal Point” were produced. Quite ready-to-drink. |
