TASTING NOTE: A blend of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and 29% Cabernet Franc, this has notes of dark fruit, earth and smoke on the nose. Ripe, rich and rounded with good depth and complexity in the mouth. Structured and balanced, this will reward 3-5 years patience, but can be enjoyed tonight with blackened pork ribs, burgers or steak. (VINTAGES panel, Aug. 2015) |
