This well-priced Chardonnay from a top Ontario producer is perennially popular and serves up juicy apple, vanilla and cream aromas. Look for a distinctive Twenty Mile Bench minerality on the palate. Pair with crab legs, fish, or grilled chicken breast with lemon zest. TASTING NOTE: This is an attractive chardonnay that shows perfectly ripe fruit, with good complexity, weight, and structure, and evidence of a carefully measured oak treatment. The attributes of oak are there in the flavours and texture, but there's no woodiness to mar the purity of the fruit. The acidity is bright and clean, and the overall integration is very good. Drink it now through to the late 20-teens to enjoy its freshness. Score - 4 1/2 out of 5 Stars (Rod Phillips, rodphillipsonwine.com, Feb. 2016) Price $ 18.95
