The word \"Musqué\" denotes an especially aromatic clone of a grape - in this case, Chardonnay. Cave Spring ferments this in stainless steel vats to retain these impressive aromatics. The result is a pretty wine with notions of white blossoms and citrus with pepper spice and ginger accents. Ideal for seafood. TASTING NOTE: An open and fragrant, clean and floral, highly inviting example of the musqué clone of chardonnay from Cave Spring here in 2014. The palate is light-med-bodied, brightly sharp and saliva-inducing, free from any oak influence, in a comfortable space between neutral and aromatic whites. Highly versatile; ready to drink.
