Extremely deep intense purple colour. Extracty, slightly spicy, ripe, plum-cherry puree nose with some vanilla notes. Dry, fairly well structured, medium-full bodied, spicy, plummy, dried cherry flavours with a lingering, vanilla-driven finish. Has an alcohol level of 14.5%. Better than the recommended 2006 (**/**+) released on October 16, 2010 at only $23.95. The average price in the US is $31. [89-points] |
