Petite Sirah is widely made in California, where producers often blend it with Zinfandel to add structure, but in western Mexico it does very well as a stand-alone variety. L.A. Cetto are particularly adept at producing excellent wines, of tremendous value, from the grape. Expect a deeply coloured wine with black pepper and tea notes and an impressive, well-rounded finish. Pair this with spicy black bean dishes or steak-and-cheese enchiladas. |
