Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, plummy, dried red cherry nose with some vanilla notes. Spicy, dry, medium bodied, tangy, plummy, dried red cherry flavours with a crisp, vanilla stick finish. OK but somewhat underwhelming. Ready-to-drink. The 2005 (*+) was released on January 10, 2009 at $14.95. |

"Parducci is a leader in eco-friendly viticulture as it’s the first carbon-neutral winery in the United States. Bravo! They were also among the first producers to recognize the potential of Petite Sirah, which thrives in the warm Mendocino appellation. This dark ruby beauty exhibits ripe, spicy dark fruit aromas such as blackberry, black cherry, blueberry and plum with notions of chocolate and mint. It’s medium-bodied with lush fruit and subtle tannins. A wonderful match for blackened sirloin or blue cheeses." |
