PETITE SIRAH 2007 Baja California
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer L.A. CETTO
Not in the press preview. Here is Julian Hitner’s note: Dense purple-ruby colour. Toasty with dark stewed plums, leather, white pepper, and spice. Clean, with soft forward fruit, approachable tannins, milder acidity and a hint of dark plums on the finish. Fairly basic, yet tasty. A repeat of the 2007 (*/*+) released on January 9, 2010 at $11.95. here is my original note: Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, stewed, spicy, baked black cherry-apple nose. Dry, spicy, medium bodied, ripe plummy-cherry flavours with a cedary finish. This ready-to-drink, neophyte crowd pleaser might best be served slightly chilled. CSPC 983742
