Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Rosenblum |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, slightly cooked, red plum and prune nose with some faint raspberry vinaigrette notes. Very dry and extracty with tangy, slightly sweet, spicy, plummy, dried black cherry flavours and a lingering, raspberry finish. First bottle had some vinagrette notes. |

TASTING NOTE: Rich, dark blackberry pie, huckleberry syrup and dark chocolate notes on a medium frame with chewy tannins. Wonderfully effusive berry notes aren't weighed down by the tannins. Drink now through 2012. Score - 89. (Maryann Worobiec, www.winespectator.com, March 31, 2008) |
