Stunning value at under ten dollars. Deep, bright ruby-purple colour. Huge, sweet blackberry, plum pudding, youthfully grapy nose with licorice and herbs. Medium-full bodied, sweetish, open knit and juicy. Finish dries out with considerable heat but there is lots here for the money. Very good length. Score - 87 (David Lawrason, Wine Access, ‘First in Line E-Report’, Oct. 14, 2006) |
