Deep purple colour. Smells like the interior of a tropical fruit cocktail can. Very spicy, slightly sweetish, medium to medium-light bodied, juicy, tropical fruit cocktail flavours with some strawberry jam notes. |

TASTING NOTE: A ripe, sweetish and spicy sun drenched red that would be handy around the barbeque. Up front dark berry, chocolate and spicy aromas follow through well on the palate. Good acidity and structure with some dark fruit and spicy persistence on the palate. Score – 86. (Jeff Davis, Wine Access, ‘First in Line E-Report’, July 22, 2006) |
