DUPEYRON HORS D'AGE ARMAGNAC DU COLLETIONNEUR AC |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

RYST DUPEYRON |
Light golden amber colour. Intense, very slightly sweetish, seductive caramel-plum puree nose with some faintly honeyed, autumnal fallen leaf notes. Dry, truly lovely, well structured, harmonious, very slightly spicy, plummy, caramel-vanilla flavours with a lingering, bright, vanilla stick finish. The best value Armagnac I have ever tasted (and I have spent time visiting this region). I was told by the agent that the original price posted by the LCBO was significantly below its actual market value! |

TASTING NOTE: Deep orangy, coppery hue. The nose reveals predominant spice, notes of tobacco and exotic wood. On the palate, wonderful structure and precise, spice dominated aromas, coupled with great freshness. Score: 90 (gilbertgaillard.com, Dec. 23, 2010) |
